If you arrived here after the war, If you came here from Poland to work, as your country was taken over by the Soviets, you were welcome then and you are welcome now.

If you arrived here from India and Pakistan in the 1950s as a result of your countries being partitioned, you were welcome then and you are welcome now.

If you arrived here in the 60s and 70s, Asian refugees from East Africa, you were welcome then and you are welcome now.

If you arrived here in the 80s and 90s from Somalia, escaping your civil war, you were welcome then and you are welcome now.

If you arrived here in the 2000s as a result of your country joining the European Union, you were welcome then and you are welcome now.

If you arrived from India, Pakistan and Nigeria, as part of the Boriswave, replacing European workers who left because of Brexit, you were welcome then and you are welcome now.

If you arrived here from Hong Kong because of the Chinese takeover, you were welcome then and you are welcome now.

If you arrived here from Ukraine because of the Russian war, you were welcome then and you are welcome now.

If you arrived here in more recent times because of war or genocide in your own countries, you were welcome then and you are welcome now.

If you arrived here from the Commonwealth, from the United States, from South and Central America, from the Middle East, from the Far East…. and anywhere else… you were welcome then and you are welcome now.
