48 Reasons

 I hadn't been sure whether to arrange a seminar on book writing (along with Malcolm Down and Sheralyn Pattison). But 48 reasons turned up at Chroma Church on Saturday morning. So now there are 48 new authors ready to step beyond the 'maybe' to the larger world of writing.

As a Chrisitan, I'm a storyteller, reflecting Christ, the ultimate storyteller. Did you know that in the Sermon on the Mount, he tells at least eighteen different stories?! Check it out.

This morning's study in Lectio365 is a wonderful PS to the seminar, looking at the life of author Eugene Peterson, a writer of over 30 books including The Message Bible. 

Here's the Peterson quote the use:

Stories invite us into a world larger than ourselves. We're story telling people, and our lives are stories. They have a plot, they have intent, and they have other people.
